Jim Gauthier has been working in the interior design field
since 1988. He’s worked at some of Boston’s most noted firms,
among them Bierly-Drake Associates and Celeste Cooper.
While at those firms, he led installations of an island compound off
the coast of Maine, a luxury town home in Toronto, Canada, a
country club house on Cape Cod and a seaside estate in the
Hamptons. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts
from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has
been a member of the American Society of Interior Designers since
1995, where he served as a Board member from 1998 to 2000.
In 2007, he was awarded the Presidential Citation from the
American Society of Interior Designers, New England Chapter,
in recognition of outstanding accomplishments and lasting
contributions in the field of Interior Design.
